  32. First, I noted that the 1988 version of the source was online at rahul.net.
  33. That was the 1994 version, which I have since removed.
  34. I do use the 1988 version, rather than hacking the 1994 version, because I
  35. respect Chuck's decision to go commercial.

  37. The other is that I misunderstand Chuck's current intentions.
  38. I prowled his web page last night, after my post.  I didn't see anything
  39. implying that szrz was available for use on a Unix machine to talk to
  40. anything other than the PC version of Chuck's products.
  41. I assume you have better knowledge than I do from reading the public posts
  42. by you and him, and my apparent misreading of his current web page.

  44. Because I have, and continue, to interpret Chuck's intentions the way I
  45. do, I don't want to buy current product from him.  Therefore I don't
  46. use it.  I use the 1988 version.  The source for this seems to have
  47. disappeared from the repositories where it used to reside.  I
  48. mistakenly put the 1994 version of source where I thought the 1988
  49. version was, so I'll have to reload from an old tape, before the tape
  50. becomes brittle ;-)
